On 8/20/2010 at approximately 0050 hours southside units were dispatched to a pedestrian struck call on Stoney Run Road. As units were getting ready to clear, units on the scene needed to respond to Rt 36 at the Waverly St Bridge for a vehicle accident involving a Allegany County Bureau Police Unit and a Frostburg Area Ambulance. During the last week, the Potomac Fire Company held it's annual Street Time Fund Raiser at the Fire Station. The fire company had nickel bingo, zoo dip, face painting, baked goods and the kitchen to help support the fire company. On 5/14/2010 at approximately 1706 hours, Allegany County Communications dispatched Engine Tanker 22 for the RIT Assignment on the 2nd Alarm Commercial Building Fire. The 9 Box was for 13811 Pinto Road in Cresaptown, MD. Engine Tanker 22 responded with 6 volunteers and D/C Kight. Severe Weather Brings Multiple Calls Print E-mail

Reported House Fire Miller St Reported House Fire Miller StOn 8/4/2010 at approximately 1800 hours, a severe thunder storm with 60 mph winds rolled through the region. Allegany County dispatched multiple calls for the majority of the stations within the county. Station 22 responded to numerous trees down blocking the roadways. Brush 22 handled most of the trees down calls, Squad 22 responded to one Motor Vehicle Accident, and both the Brush and Squad responded to 340 Main St for a tree that fell onto a house.
