Double Fatal House Fire Railroad St Midland, MD Double Fatal House Fire East Hampshire St Piedmont, WVIn the early morning hours of 11/02/2011, units were dispatched to 14802 Railroad St in Midland for a Working House Fire with subjects trapped. Allegany County Communications reported that two subjects were trapped inside the house and immediately upgraded to the working fire alarm. The initial assignment brought Eng 181, Eng 171, RE 201, Squad 18, RIT 22, and Ambulance 363.

Fatal House Fire East Hampshire St Piedmont, WV Fatal House Fire East Hampshire St Piedmont, WVOn 10/15/2011 at approximately 0230 hours, units from the southside were dispatched to 23 East Hampshire St in Piedmont, WV for a Working House Fire with Reported Entrapment. Truck 24 and Engine 24-13 arrived on the scene with fire showing from the Multi-Story Duplex. ET 22 responded with 6 and Engine 221 responded with 5. 22 Crews arrived on the scene and assisted with fire attack and search and rescue.

Fire Company 99th Annual Banquet Fire Company 99th Annual Banquet

On 5/7/2011 the Potomac Fire Company held it's 99th Annual Banquet at the American Legion in Westernport. The member of the company and surrounding areas celebrated our 99 years of service to the community. Mark Karalewitz was Master of Ceremonies and Philip Whetstone gave the Invocation and the Benediction. Terry Forsythe presented the Firefighter of the Year Award and the Fireman of the Year Award.
